Starfall Street

Looking at the Rotom Phone with the words STARFALL STREET on screen

One of the three main storyline arcs is Starfall Street, and it begins when a mysterious hacker named Cassiopeia takes over your Rotom Phone while enrolling in the Academy and asks for your help in taking down a group of miscreants known as Team Star. Cassiopeia refers to this mission as Operation Starfall, and you are tasked with taking down the five Team Star Bosses in their respective bases.

Your main reward for clearing out these Team Star bases is some LP as well as a lot of Pokémon materials and more TMs that get unlocked, so it can be a good way to get access to a lot more powerful moves for your Pokémon. The Team Star Bosses are probably the most challenging of the “boss battles” across the three storyline arcs, though, so you’ll want to be prepared for them as they can be a bit tricky even if you are at the same level.

In-game map showing the location of the five Team Star bases

You can fight the five Team Star Bosses in whichever order you’d like, although there’s definitely a recommended order to follow, which focuses on taking them down in the order based on their levels, starting with the lowest-level Team Star Boss first and ending with the highest-level Team Star Boss. You’re encouraged to take on the other storyline arcs along the way instead of focusing solely on Starfall Street, though.

Spoiler-Free Recommended Order

If you’re looking for a spoiler-free recommended order for the Starfall Street storyline, which doesn’t reveal exactly which Pokémon the Team Star Bosses use on their team and just want to get an idea of what level to be at, the following table will show you the five Bosses, their primary type, and what level their main Pokémon is at (keep in mind that this might not be the highest level Pokémon on their team, though!).

How to Take on Team Star Bases

Taking on the Star Barrage

All five of the Team Star Bases work in a similar way, so here’s a quick explanation of what to expect when taking them on. You can read more about how to take on the Team Star Bases in the respective page, which you can click here for or you can press the button at the bottom of this section.

Guarded Gate

First of all, you’ll usually have to challenge someone near the gate of a Team Star Base before you’ll gain entry, so prepare yourself for a Trainer Battle. This usually gives you an idea of what sort of Pokémon to expect within.

Star Barrage

The next phase is the Star Barrage phase, where the first three Pokémon in your party will need to auto-battle against a bunch of the Team Star Grunt’s Pokémon, all at once. You’ll have 10 minutes to clear out a total of 30 Pokémon using auto-battle mode, and you can heal by using vending machines.

The Boss and the Starmobile

After you’ve cleared the Star Barrage, the Team Star Boss will appear in a flashy entrance and will formally accept your challenge. Whichever Pokémon was in the front of your party at the start of the Star Barrage is what you’ll send out against them, so keep that in mind.

In addition to having several strong Pokémon that match their type, they’ll have a special Revavroom for their last Pokémon, which is actually the Starmobile for that boss. Despite being a Revavroom, it will always be of that boss’s type, and they have unique moves as well as unusual Abilities, making them a challenge to take down.

Team Star’s Dark Crew, the Segin Squad

You can find the Fire Crew’s base north of Artazon, blocking the road to Levincia (although there is a detour you can take if you want to bypass them to get to Levincia).

Team Star’s Fairy Crew, the Ruchbah Squad

Starmobile Level: 50

Boss of Team Star's Fairy Crew, Ortega

The fourth of the Team Star Bosses is Ortega of the Ruchbah Squad—otherwise known as the Fairy Crew. He and his subordinates use Fairy-type Pokémon at his base, and he is at a substantially higher level than Atticus, the next strongest, so you may want to occupy yourself with other objectives before taking him on.

You can find the Fairy Crew’s base in the northern coast of Paldea, past Glaseado Mountain.

Team Star’s Fighting Crew, the Caph Squad

Starmobile Level: 56

Boss of Team Star's Fighting Crew, Eri

Finally, there’s Eri, boss of the Caph Squad—the Fighting Crew. She is no joke and the toughest of the Team Star Bosses for sure, specializing in high-level Fighting-type Pokémon.

You can find her and the rest of the Caph Squad in the northeastern part of Paldea, although the Fighting Crew’s base can be a little tricky to get to.

Finale

Enemy Level Range: 60–63

After you’ve defeated all five of the Team Star Bosses, you’ll have to face off against the big boss in order to disband Team Star for good! The big boss’s identity is a mystery, but you’ll find them waiting for you at Naranja / Uva Academy. Despite saying you’ll need to go at nighttime, you can actually arrive at any time, don’t worry.

Once you’ve defeated the big boss, if you haven’t already taken on the other two storyline arcs, you’ll need to do clear them before continuing.

However, if you’ve already done both of them, it’s now time to meet up with Arven and head to Area Zero to take on The Way Home: the final storyline arc.
