Marriland's Pokémon Team Builder

Marriland’s Pokémon Team Builder is a tool that you can use to check the weaknesses and resistances of your entire team at a glance to spot any glaring holes in your team’s defensive coverage. It can be used both for casual or competitive purposes. It supports Pokémon Scarlet & Violet as well as older generations.

You can input up to 6 Pokémon for your team below, and you can also choose which generation to use. Pokémon unavailable in a generation will have text indicating this by the input field.

Language Selection

The Marriland Team Builder is available in multiple languages! You can choose a supported language below and the Team Builder interface will use that language.

ENEMY Team Input (Optional)

Since you would like to check your Pokémon's move coverage against different types, you can also OPTIONALLY choose up to six ENEMY Pokémon to check your team's move's coverage against. This will factor in their weaknesses and resistances for both of their types if they have two and may help you more than just seeing the table of types. It's totally optional, though; you can leave any or all of these blank.

Options

Generation
Which generation should be used for the Team Builder. In Gen. 2–5, Fairy-type is omitted; in Gen. 1, Dark- and Steel-types are omitted, and the weaknesses/resistances are slightly different. This also affects abilities and available Pokémon.
If checked, the Team Builder will show symbols such as ◯, △, and × instead of fractions (½) or multipliers (2×).
If checked, enables you to use Tera Types. It also adds a second type in case you want to use a Custom Type instead.
If checked, enables you to set custom types for Pokémon. Just check this, type in "Bidoof" or something and set whatever type(s) you'd like to test.
If checked, enables inputting up to 4 moves per Pokémon and up to six enemy Pokémon to check your Pokémon team's move coverage against (shown below main table). This will add a lot more scrolling to the page but is great for power-users!
By pressing the Clear All button, all inputs on the page will be reset to their default. This is a good way to start from scratch without having to reload the page. A confirmation will pop up making sure you mean to do this, just in case.
