Marriland’s Pokémon Team Builder

Marriland’s Pokémon Team Builder is a tool that you can use to check the weaknesses and resistances of your entire team at a glance to spot any glaring holes in your team’s defensive coverage. It can be used both for casual or competitive purposes. Support for Pokémon Sword & Shield team building is now available for all Pokémon!

You can input up to 6 Pokémon for your team below. Support for abilities and alternate forms is available — typing “Sky Shaymin” or “Shaymin Sky” (or even “Skymin”) will work fine! Pokémon unavailable in Sword & Shield will have text indicating this by the input field.

If you’d like more information about the new Pokémon in Pokémon Sword & Shield, check out the site’s new Pokédex:

ENEMY Team Input (Optional)

Since you would like to check your Pokémon's move coverage against different types, you can also OPTIONALLY choose up to six ENEMY Pokémon to check your team's move's coverage against. This will factor in their weaknesses and resistances for both of their types if they have two and may help you more than just seeing the table of types. It's totally optional, though; you can leave any or all of these blank.

Options

If checked, the Team Builder will show symbols such as ◯, △, and × instead of fractions (½) or multipliers (2×).
If checked, enables you to set custom types for Pokémon. Just check this, type in "Bidoof" or something and set whatever type(s) you'd like to test.
If checked, enables inputting up to 4 moves per Pokémon and up to six enemy Pokémon to check your Pokémon team's move coverage against (shown below main table). This will add a lot more scrolling to the page but is great for power-users!
