As soon as you enter Route 24, you’ll find a whole slew of Trainers waiting on a bridge called Nugget Bridge waiting to battle you. Get ready for another gauntlet of battles, because you’ve got to fight them all!
The five Trainers of Nugget Bridge shouldn’t pose too much of a challenge to you, but they have some different types that you may not have run into before, so keep that in mind.
After beating all five of them, the mysterious Trainer at the end will give you a Nugget for your conquest. Nice! Then he’ll try to persuade you to join Team Rocket. Not nice!
Take him down and he’ll run away, leaving you free to explore the rest of the route. Just to the north, up on the ledge, is a man with a Charmander who isn’t very good at raising Pokémon. He’ll give you a free Charmander that’s at level 14. The next Gym is a Water-type Gym, so it’s probably not the best time to add it to your party, but if you’re interested in using one later on it might still be good to get it some EXP as you continue throughout the region.

To the south, you’ll find some tall grass, as well as Camper Shane. Take him down and then grab the 3 Razz Berries to the south.
That’s actually it for the route, so head back to the north and then further east to reach Route 25, which has yet another onslaught on Trainers. You might want to go back to heal before taking on the next route if you’re a little on the weakened side.
