In a rather dramatic, documentary-style trailer, a new Pokémon has been revealed—the Toxic Monkey Pokémon Grafaiai! It was teased on social media over the past few days, with various mysterious pictures shown, along with the Pokémon’s name.
A new video trailer for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet has been released today and it showcases more of the game, including several new Pokémon, the “box” Legendary Pokémon, the two Professors of the region—which vary based on which game is being played. The two games also now have a confirmed release date of November 18, 2022.

In today’s Pokémon Presents, two new Pokémon games for the Nintendo Switch were unveiled—Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet—due for a worldwide release in late 2022. This pair of games mark the start of Generation IX (Generation 9).
You can see some footage of the game in action in the reveal trailer up above, which showcases an open world with numerous Pokémon found out in the wild and even throughout the cities. The region appears to be influenced by real-world Spain and Portugal, and the region itself is said to be open world.
