Cinderace appearing in the Tera Raid Battle

The 7-star Cinderace the Unrivaled Tera Raid Event that first took place two weeks ago, to celebrate the new year, has now returned for a second run. From now until January 15, 2023 at 3:59pm PST / 6:59pm EST (23:59 UTC), you’ll be able to fight against this Cinderace and see if you can take it down, hopefully with some friends. It always has a Fighting Tera Type and loves to use Bulk Up to power itself up, making it a challenge to keep under control.

If you’ve previously caught this Cinderace with the Mightiest Mark, you won’t be able to catch another one, but you can still fight against it for fun and for its other rewards. You can find it in black Tera Dens that are glowing to signify it is for the event—they’ll always be Fighting-type, so they should be easy to spot.

The first time you defeat it, you’ll be able to catch it, and you’ll also be rewarded with a guaranteed Ability Patch along with TM064. You’ll also receive a variety of other good rewards, such as Exp. Candies L and XL, as well as additional chances for Ability Patches (even after receiving the guaranteed one), so it’s good to fight multiple times.

Cinderace itself comes at level 100, has the exclusive Mightiest Mark, has its Hidden Ability Libero, and has perfect IVs.

During the battle against it, it will use the moves Pyro Ball, High Jump Kick, Acrobatics, and Iron Head. It will also frequently use Bulk Up between every turn as an additional move, and will even use it before you have a chance to attack.
