Corviknight is a new Flying/Steel-type Raven Pokémon that was first revealed on June 5, 2019. It’s a strong, large bird that is capable of transporting people around, and this is said to be the primary way that players can travel between towns and cities in the Galar region in Pokémon Sword & Shield.

It has a chance of having its Hidden Ability, Mirror Armor, when encountered in a Max Raid Battle. Mirror Armor is a new ability that reflects back any stat-lowering effects from moves or abilities to the opponent that induced them, such as by the move Growl or the ability Intimidate.

Gigantamax Corviknight

On July 8, 2019, Gigantamax Corviknight was revealed. Corviknight’s Gigantamax form turns it into a gigantic bird with glowing red feathers. Upon going Gigantamax, it releases the armor on its wings into blade birds that can fly around independently of Corviknight, while the armor on its body has been reinforced.

Its Flying-type moves change into G-Max Wind Rage while in Gigantamax form, which removes the effects of moves such as Reflect, Light Screen, Spikes, and Electric Terrain that the enemy has used.

Corviknight’s Evolution Line

Corviknight is the final Pokémon in a three-stage evolution line.

Rookidee
Rookidee

Its first evolutionary stage is a small bird called Rookidee. It is a pure-Flying-type Pokémon. At level 18, Rookidee evolves into Corvisquire, another pure-Flying-type Pokémon.

Lastly, Corvisquire will evolve into Corviknight at level 38.

More Information About Corviknight

Corviknight are said to be the strongest Pokémon in the skies of the Galar region and can be seen soaring through the air. Many Pokémon are said to flee from fights against Corviknight before they’ve even began due to its fearsome presence.

Throughout the Galar region, Corviknight work for a company known as the Galar Taxi, which transports people across towns and cities in the region.
