Weezing's Abilities

Here are what abilities Weezing can possibly have, along with their effects.
Levitate
Weezing is unaffected by Ground-type moves, as well as Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Arena Trap, etc.
Neutralizing Gas
When Weezing is sent out, all abilities are suppressed until Weezing leaves the field, when they activate again.
Stench
Weezing has a 10% chance of making the target flinch with it hit. This does not affect moves that already cause flinching.

This should help you figure out how to get Weezing in Pokémon Sword & Shield. (Currently the encounters do not show most "strong" static encounters or Max Raid Battles.)

Notes About Weezing

Normal Weezing is currently not available in Pokémon Sword and Shield, although data for it exists in the game. Galarian Weezing is available instead.
