Exclusive to Pokémon Sword
Shelgon is exclusive to Pokémon Sword, so if you are playing Pokémon Shield, you will need to trade with someone playing Pokémon Sword in order to obtain it for your Pokédex.

Covering SHELGON's body are outgrowths much like bones. The shell is very hard and bounces off enemy attacks. When awaiting evolution, this POKéMON hides away in a cavern.
