If you're looking for where to find Pinsir, you'll find the various methods listed down below, along with any notes or special locations. This should help you figure out how to get Pinsir in Pokémon Sword & Shield. (Currently this does not show most "strong" static encounters or Max Raid Battles.)
Exclusive to Pokémon Sword
Pinsir is exclusive to Pokémon Sword, so if you are playing Pokémon Shield, you will need to trade with someone playing Pokémon Sword in order to obtain it for your Pokédex.
Special Ways to Get Pinsir
Available in some Max Raid Dens (exclusive to Dens in Pokémon Sword) on the Isle of Armor (DLC).

This Pokémon clamps its pincers down on its prey and then either splits the prey in half or flings it away.

One solid blow from its horns is enough to split apart a large tree. Its greatest rival in Alola is Vikavolt.
