Appletun • Generation VIII Pokédex

Scarlet/Violet support is in the works!

Thank you for your interest in having the Marriland Pokédex updated to support Pokémon Scarlet & Violet! This has been something that I've been wanting to update for awhile, and it is my current project to implement support for the new games and The Teal Mask DLC. Thank you for your patience as I work on this over the coming week or two!

Getting Appletun By Evolution

Evolves from Applin by using a Sweet Apple Sweet Apple on it. Sweet Apples can be found only in Pokémon Shield, underneath the trees of Axew's Eye. There's also a free Sweet Apple given to you in Hammerlocke (only in Pokémon Shield) if you have an Applin and let a person in the west side of town borrow it (you get it back immediately).

Pokédex Entries for Appletun

Generation 8 Pokédex Entries

Normal

Sword
Eating a sweet apple caused its evolution. A nectarous scent wafts from its body, luring in the bug Pokémon it preys on.
Shield
Its body is covered in sweet nectar, and the skin on its back is especially yummy. Children used to have it as a snack.

Gigantamax

Sword
It blasts its opponents with massive amounts of sweet, sticky nectar, drowning them under the deluge.
Shield
Due to Gigantamax energy, this Pokémon's nectar has thickened. The increased viscosity lets the nectar absorb more damage than before.
