Glossary: Mineral (Egg Group)

The Mineral Egg Group is one of the Egg Groups in the Pokémon video games. It is primarily comprised of Pokémon made from organic or synthetic materials, such as metals, rocks, ores, or even household objects.

Pokémon in the Mineral Egg Group are able to breed with other Pokémon in the Mineral Egg Group, so long as one is male and one is female, and the resulting Egg will be of the female’s species. Any Pokémon in the Mineral Egg Group, even genderless Pokémon, can breed with Ditto to create an Egg of that Pokémon’s species. Many Pokémon in the Mineral Egg Group are genderless, so they only way they can produce an Egg is by breeding with Ditto.
