The Bug Egg Group is one of the Egg Groups in the Pokémon video games. Although many Bug-type Pokémon belong to this Egg Group, it should not be confused with the type. It consists primarily of insectoid, arachnoid, and other bug-like Pokémon.
Pokémon in the Bug Egg Group are able to breed with other Pokémon in the Bug Egg Group, so long as one is male and one is female, and the resulting Egg will be of the female’s species. Any Pokémon in the Bug Egg Group can breed with Ditto to create an Egg of that Pokémon’s species.
